Alright. Anybody who actually keeps in touch with me (basically, just Carly) would know that I was set to graduate high school on 27th September. Anybody who bothers to read the dates on these entries would also know that this means I have graduated from high school.

Honestly, right now it doesn't seem like it's all that it's cracked up to be. Our graduation ceremony was...most unemotional. I cried all the way through it, and so did my friend Raghad. But we're a pair of pansies. Hardly anybody cried! It was strange...

Maybe it just doesn't feel like we've graduated because we haven't done our exams yet. See, it still hasn't hit me that we don't need to go to school anymore. It's odd, to say the least. I just feel...a little empty, that's all.

Well...shout-outs to the class of '007!! Love you all!! I know none of them are reading this, but that hardly matters...

Newest graphic that I've created:

It looks best with a white background. And I know she doesn't look dead - I turned her skin blue, but it's the first time that I've ever done it so bare with me. Anyway, l8r all.

Eh...

I haven't been here in...well...a long time. Since some time in August, I believe. Well...it's a sad day for most. Even here in Australia; 9/11 brings a frown to the face of all who think of it. It's horrible knowing that, six years on, all of those people who died are still not being served justice. While their families mourn, the war continues.

Stupid, stupid Bush...

APEC was interesting. We all got a day off school because of it. Well, all of us in the inner parts of Sydney, anyway. It wasn't as entertaining as most may believe, though. Perhaps it was in the immediate city. There were no riots around here, though.

Sixteen days until Graduation. And then my major exams start on 18th October. I'm not so scared anymore. I just can't wait until they're all over.

Mum's doing full-time work now. I'll admit, this isn't easy. But I'm getting by...

This Is Getting Ridiculous

Once again, I am bed ridden. And that's not good, because my trials start on Monday! The last lot of exams before my HSC! Yes, I'm terrified, but I'm also sick!!

Agh!!

Anyway, I'mma go...

Harry Potter - The End Of An Era

Harry Potter is a lot more to me than most people may think. I started reading it in primary school at the suggestion of a classmate, Belle, and soon became hooked on the series. That was about a year before the first movie came out, before the series was so famous. I suppose it was odd, starting the books when I was eleven and Harry was eleven. And now the series has ended, as Harry is seventeen and I am seventeen.

As ends the series, so does a part of my life. And so I pay respects...

Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone was the first book I ever read of my own accord. The series is what got me so into books. And in waiting for the fifth book to come out, I used to write Harry Potter stories of my own. Thus was born my love of writing and my very first character, Haylie, whose name I still use today as both a penname and a false name on the Internet. Indeed, she is still my protagonist in many of my works.

From writing Harry Potter stories, I found HPFF - HarryPotterFanFiction.Com - a website for fans to post their own stories. I did so, and it brought about my meeting of two of my best friends - Heather and Alex.

Had it not been for J.K. Rowling's magnificent work, we never would have met. We never would have connected so well. But as it is, we did. All thanks to the series.

I've grown up with the books, and they've taught me a lot of valuable lessons about life and death, love and hate - and all those things in between. It has opened my eyes to the real world. Revealed to me the power of the imagination. And so, it has brought me to life.

I'm thinking of returning to fanfiction. Just maybe...but it's a good maybe..

And now I shall end this entry, with two of HPFF's most known quotes.

"The pen is mightier than the wand" and "What will you imagine?"

Return Of The Dead

Alex is back, and telling me her story.

Next time someone tells me not to worry about my friends, I'm going to slap them and tell them not to say that, because this time I was worrying and it turns out I was in the right.

She wasn't alright...grr...
